Our Field Trip is next Thursday!  Please check your child's agenda next week for important information about the field trip.

 

The PTA membership drive is going on right now.  If you haven't already, please join our PTA

 

Also, our garden is looking quite sad.  Please email me if you are interested in helping out with the garden and cleared to volunteer.   

 

Last, but not least, the order forms for Scrip are in the Thursday folders.  This is an easy way to help our school provide programs and field trips for our students.  Choose gift cards to places you already shop at, or buy gifts for the holidays.  (I like to buy them for my son, so I can let him know I'm thinking about him at college.)

Also, if you have not returned your emergency food and PTA Membership information, please do so by Monday.

 

Finally, if you have not signed and returned the Field Trip permission slip, please return it by Monday.

Hi Room 9 Families!

 

Your child brought home their first official writing homework today.  It was self selected, and all of the students brought home either a blank book or blank comic book to create.

 

There is also a reading log and the Homework policy is clipped into their red homework folder. 

 

I've attached template pages on the website for you, in case your child needs more or loses their book.

 

If you have not signed up for a parent conference, there will be a paper for you to choose one of the available spots inside the folder pocket.

1. Tomorrow is our Library Day.  Please remind your child to bring their library books tomorrow.

2. Timeline Homework is Due tomorrow.

3.  If you child has not brought in an artifact, please make sure they do so tomorrow!  It was due last week.

4. Back to School Night is Thursday starting at 6:30pm.  Please try your best to attend. We have a lot of new information to share!! 

5. Our designated Book Fair Purchase Day is Thursday.  If you'd like to purchase books from the Book Fair, please send money with your child on Thursday morning.  They have their wish lists in their backpacks.
