Dual Immersion Language - Mandarin starting 2019-2020 school year!
School is closed for the summer, so we hope that the information below will be useful to our DIL-Mandarin families:
 
1. Teacher: Ingrid Lin
2. 90/10 program
3. Traditional Chinese
4. August 19, 2019 (1st day of school - dismiss at 1:30 pm)
5. Kinder schedule: 8:30 am - 2:10 pm (every Wednesday, all students dismiss at 1:30 pm)
 
Please look out for a mailer in early August - the mail will contain welcome letters from Principal Contreras and kinder teachers, as well as, some important information about Round-Up (August 15).
Additionally, mark your calendar to attend a brief kinder orientation (8:45 am-9:45 am) on the first day of school (August 19).

Wilson Recognized as Honor Roll Performance School

Wilson Elementary has been named 2018 - 2019 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll for its high achievement in student success. The program, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes. Wilson is one of 1,834 public schools in California to be recognized.

Dear Wildcat Families,
Well, here it is, the end of our first year
together. It is surreal to think we are in
our last couple of months of school. On a
personal level, I want to thank all our Wilson
community for welcoming me with open
arms this year. You are the reason my first
year has been so memorable and enjoyable.
I am excited to continue to serve you as your
principal. I look forward to all our future
collaboration for the betterment of Wilson.
