Project Updates

Hello Room 4 Families! We had such a great day today. The kids learned about biomimicry. Biomimicry is taking ideas from nature. They had to solve an everyday problem by designing a solution using parts of a plant. Ask them all
about it, their ideas were amazing! Ask them what their problem was and what they designed.
Attached to the HW packet is a writing page. Have your child research their animal. Please send the facts page in on Monday 2/6. This will help them write an informational book next week.
Also, paper work came home on our Living Musuem Project. Students get to choose a person in history who made a difference. You can choose from the list provided or you guys can come up with your own person. Please send in your top 2 chooses because we will not have any duplicates. Our Living Museum will be in the cafeteria on Monday, February 27th first thing in the morning. This project is so fun to see. All the kids will be dressed up as famous people. If you haven't taken some time off to come and see your child at school, this is the day to do it. Our Living Musuem will be from 8:30-9:30. Get your video cameras ready!
